Arsenal Defeats Brentford to Move Second Place in Premier League.

Arsenal, last night, defeated Brentford 3-1 to move six points of Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Bryan Mbeumo struck the ball past David Raya at his near post, but Gabriel Jesus was quick to respond in the box, heading in the equalizer for Arsenal just before halftime.

In the second half, the visitors scored two rapid goals, courtesy of Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino, to secure a win against Brentford.

The 17 year old Ethan Nwaneri, who started in place for the injured Bukayo Saka, greatly contributed to Arsenal’s goals scored in the game.

Mikel Arteta’s side now have 39 points after 19 matches, while Liverpool have 45 points with one game in hand
