ANAMBRA COUNCIL RENAMES SECRETARIAT AFTER PROFESSOR NWOSU.

The authorities of Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State have renamed the council’s administration building after the late Chairman of the National Electoral Commission, now Independent Nationals Electoral Commission, Professor HUMPHREY NWOSU, in recognition of his profound contributions to Nigeria’s democracy and development of the council.

The chairman of the council, CASMIR NWAFOR made the declaration during a commendation ceremony to celebrate the life and achievements of NWOSU at the local government headquarters in Ajalli.

In his remarks, the Chief of Staff to the governor of Anambra State, ERNEST EZEAJUGHI highlighted the efforts of Governor CHUKWUMA SOLUDO’s administration in upholding his legacy and urged attendees to be inspired by the exemplary life of late NWOSU and continue in the spirit of service, education, and community development that he embodied.
