ANAMBRA ASSEMBLY MOURNS EX-DEPUTY SPEAKER OSEKE

Anambra State House of Assembly has mourned former Deputy Speaker, HARFORD OSEKE,who died on Monday at 64 years.

The Speaker of the House, SOMTOCHUKWU UDEZE, described OSEKE’s death as a “rude shock and devastating to the Legislative Institution and Anambra State House of Assembly in particular.

 UDEZE commiserated with the immediate family of the late former Deputy Speaker, urging them to uphold the good qualities of their husband and father especially his excellent service to God and humanity as a devout Christian.

 The circumstances surrounding OSEKE’s death are still unclear as some reports said he collapsed during his regular exercise routine at Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka on Monday, while others revealed that he had been sick and had been in the hospital until the story of his death broke on Monday.
