The eagerly anticipated release of Adekunle Gold’s much-anticipated album, Tequila Ever After, has finally happened, and fans are happy. The package, which promised to be an incredible addition to Adekunle Gold’s already excellent career, has finally been unwrapped following an impressive and enticing pre-release campaign. Tequila Ever After, his fifth studio album, is expected to represent a turning point in his development as an artist.

Adekunle Gold gives listeners a really intimate and contemplative experience that strikes hearts by incorporating therapy-inspired sessions into the songs. Tequila Ever After, however, is a tapestry made with a rich tapestry of musical inspirations from other genres and is not simply about Adekunle Gold’s unfiltered feelings. Adekunle Gold expertly combines the essence of Malian guitar blues, the deep rhythms of South African soul, the contagious energy of Jamaican dancehall, and the throbbing beats of American pop and hip-hop while working with an incredible array of producers and performers. Adekunle Gold jokingly refers to this combination of sounds as “Afrobeats Pro Max” – a bigger and better version of his prior albums. It generates a singular and appealing mood.

The album has an excellent track list of 18 pieces that have been meticulously chosen, each of which offers a unique and compelling auditory trip. As listeners become lost in the songs, they are taken to a place where all cultures and musical genres coexist together.
Tequila Ever After is made much more alluring by the outstanding guests who feature on it. The skills of musicians from all around the world have been skillfully weaved into Adekunle Gold’s musical tapestry. From the mesmerising sounds of Malian musician Habib Koite to the soulful vocals of South African sensation Ami Faku, the contagious vigour of Nigerian artists Odumodublvk and Zinoleesky, the global flair of Pharrell Williams and Coco Jones, and the collaborations with American musicians Khalid and Nile Rodgers, every one of these artists—from the infectious energy of Nigerian artists Odumodublvk to the infectious energy of South
