Nigerian singer Banky W has won the house of representatives primaries.

Nigerian singer Banky W has won the house of representatives primaries for the Eti-Osa Federal constituency under the People’s Democratic Party PDP.

In a video that has now gone viral, the votes of the primaries were counted and closely monitored by the delegates and members of the party.

The music star won with twenty-eight votes while his closest opponent scored three votes.

This will be his second attempt at winning a seat in the green chambers of the National Assembly.

The music star announced that he’ll be running for the House of Reps seat back in April after losing in his first attempt to Ibrahim Obanikoro of the All Progressive Congress APC.
