KELECHI IHEANACHO EMERGES AS TURKISH 1. LIG’S BEST PLAYER AFTER EIGHT ROUNDS

Super Eagles striker, KELECHI IHEANACHO, has been named the best player of the opening eight rounds of the Turkish 1. Lig , following an impressive start to his career at Bursaspor football club.

The award was announced on the beIN 1. Lig programme, where moderator TURGAY KESKIN and commentator TUNÇ KAYACI also named Bursaspor the standout team of the opening eight rounds.

IHEANACHO’s latest contribution came in Bursaspor’s 2-1 comeback victory over Batman Petrolspor on September 19, when he struck twice.

His remarkable performance has also earned him a return to the Super Eagles, with coach ERIC CHELLE naming him in the squad for Nigeria’s October 6 friendly against Russia.
