D’TIGRESS ARRIVE BERLIN IN PREPARATIONS FOR 2026 FIBA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL WORLD CUP.

Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, has arrived in Berlin, Germany, as the team steps up preparations for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.

The African champions were welcomed by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, ITA ENANG, and officials of the Nigerian diplomatic mission in Berlin. 

Nigeria is in Group B with South Korea, Hungary and France, with the team set to face South Korea in their opening match on Friday, Hungary on Saturday and subsequently France on Monday. 

D’Tigress entered the tournament as five-time African champions and will be hoping to build on their historic quarter-final appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
