Canadian singer and rapper, DRAKE has lost a $1.5 million bet after Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.

DRAKE had backed Argentina to beat Spain, staking $1.5 million through a betting platform in the hope of winning a $5.1 million payout.

The latest loss has reignited discussions about the so-called “Drake Curse”—a popular internet theory suggesting that teams or athletes publicly backed by the award-winning musician often end up losing.

Recall that earlier this year, DRAKE also lost a bet after backing former UFC two-division champion CONOR MCGREGOR, who was defeated by MAX HOLLOWAY.
