PRESIDENT TINUBU TO ATTEND UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN SEPTEMBER

President BOLA TINUBU has confirmed his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to take place in New York in September.

Nigeria’s Representative to the UN, JIMOH IBRAHIM, disclosed this after meeting with the President at the State House in Abuja.

According to IBRAHIM, President TINUBU is expected to address the General Assembly on Nigeria’s reform achievements and participate in several side events during the session.

IBRAHIM added that President TINUBU reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening border policing and would collaborate with the United Nations to address the challenge of porous borders across West Africa
