NDC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE IN KANO PICKS KWANKWASO’S SON AS RUNNING MATE.

The governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress in Kano State, AMINU GWARZO, has selected MUSTAPHA KWANKWASO, son of former Kano State Governor RABIU KWANKWASO, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election.

The development was confirmed today by GWARZO’s spokesperson, IBRAHIM SHUAIBU, who said the choice underscores the party’s commitment to unity, inclusiveness and effective representation.

SHUAIBU stated that the decision was reached after consultations with key stakeholders of the party and was intended to boost its prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He described MUSTAPHA KWANKWASO as a dedicated member of the party, adding that his selection would help strengthen the party’s support base across Kano State.
