Nigerian music star, FOLARIN FALANA, popularly known as FALZ, has alleged that President BOLA TINUBU sponsored a large group of counter-protesters to oppose the recent anti-insecurity demonstration.

The musician made the allegation three days after participating in the #EndInsecurity protest held across Nigeria on Democracy Day, June 12, 2026.

The demonstrations, which took place in several states, were organised in response to the persistent killings and kidnappings carried out by terrorists.

Speaking on the development in a video posted on Instagram, FALZ accused the Nigerian government of mobilising counter-protesters, most of whom he claimed were women.

The singer also urged the Federal Government to take decisive steps to secure the release of all captives and address the insecurity challenges facing the country.
