GOVERNOR FUBARA WITHDRAWS FROM APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY. 

Rivers State Governor, SIMINALAYI FUBARA, has announced his withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary election in the state.

Governor FUBARA disclosed this in a statement personally signed yesterday, noting that he would support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate.

The state governor described the decision as difficult but necessary, adding that it was reached after deep reflection and extensive consultations with his family, friends and associates.

He expressed firm commitment to supporting whoever emerges as the candidate of the party and reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people of Rivers State until the end of his tenure.
