Controversial Nigerian singer, SPEED DARLINGTON, has criticized the re-election ambition of President BOLA TINUBU, citing the country’s current economic challenges and rising insecurity.

The entertainer expressed his views in a video posted on his Instagram page yesterday where he questioned the President’s performance since assuming office in 2023.

In the video, SPEED DARLINGTON faulted some of the administration’s economic policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, which he argued contributed to the sharp rise in the cost of living across the country, stressing thatthe decision to remove subsidy on petroleum products had far-reaching consequences because many aspects of Nigeria’s economy depend heavily on fuel pricing.

The singer also criticized what he described as policy failures, economic miscalculations, and worsening insecurity under the current administration, arguing  that the President had not done enough to address the country’s security concerns and questioned the basis for seeking another term in office.

SPEED DARLINGTON further warned that a second term under the current administration would amount to “hell fire” for Nigerians if existing challenges remain unresolved.
