Burnley Football Club have confirmed that MIKE JACKSON will take interim charge of the team following the departure of head coach SCOTT PARKER.
The club announced that PARKER left his role by mutual consent after Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League, with both parties agreeing to part ways following discussions with the board.
In a statement on its official website, the club said JACKSON will step in on a temporary basis as Burnley aim to finish the season on a positive note.
Burnley also confirmed that the process of appointing a new permanent head coach ahead of the 2026/27 season is already underway.
The club expressed appreciation for PARKER’s contribution, noting that he departs with the organisation’s respect.
