Manchester City moved to the top of the Premier League table after securing a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Burnley last night.
The team, managed by PEP GUARDIOLA, entered the match three points behind Arsenal, having defeated the Gunners 2–1 in their previous outing.
City made an early breakthrough in the sixth minute, with ERLING HAALAND finishing off a move initiated by JEREMY DOKU and calmly lifted the ball over the goalkeeper to score what proved to be the decisive goal.
Despite the bright start, Manchester City were unable to extend their lead and had to withstand pressure from Burnley to secure all three points.
The result sees City climb above Arsenal to the top of the table on goals scored, with both teams level on 70 points and sharing an identical goal difference of +37
