There are indications that Super Eagles captain, WILFRED NDIDI and RYAN ALEBIOSUstill have a chance of featuring for Nigeria at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations,

NDIDI sustained a hamstring injury in Nigeria’s quarter-final victory over the Desert Foxes of Algeria on Saturday, and was ruled out of the Super Eagles’ semi-final showdown with hosts Morocco due to suspension.

However, the team’s media officer, PROMISE EFOGHE, said the Besiktas star is already walking freely, an indication that the injury is not serious.

Similarly, ALEBIOSU has also continued to improve on his path to full fitness, having taken part in training on Sunday night, thereby raising hopes that he could return to full fitness before the end of the tournament.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take on host nation Morocco in the semi-final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 9:00 P.M. at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
