ATALANTA TO DELAY ADEMOLA LOOKMAN’S RELEASE FOR AFCON 2025

Atalanta will postpone ADEMOLA LOOKMAN’S departure for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

LOOKMAN, who was included in Nigeria’s 55-man provisional squad announced on Tuesday by head coach ERIC CHELLE, is widely expected to make the Super Eagles’ final 28-man roster for the tournament.

However, reports say Atalanta will only release LOOKMAN after their Serie A fixture against Cagliari on 13 December.

Nigeria is scheduled to open its training camp for AFCON 2025 in Cairo, Egypt, on 10 December, with all invited players expected to report by the following day.
