PRESIDENT TINUBU DEMANDS GREATER EFFICIENCY IN ONGOING FIGHT AGAINST INSECURITY

President BOLA TINUBU has called for enhanced efficiency in both strategy and outcomes in the ongoing efforts to address insecurity across parts of Nigeria.

The President made the demand during a meeting with service chiefs and heads of intelligence agencies held yesterday at the State House in Abuja.

Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, the Chief of Defence Staff, General OLUFEMI OLUYEDE, described the engagement as highly productive, noting that President TINUBU issued fresh directives and provided renewed strategic guidance aimed at improving the effectiveness of security operations nationwide.

General OLUYEDE also assured Nigerians that security agencies are strengthening coordination to ensure that citizens can celebrate the upcoming yuletide season in a peaceful and secure environment.
