MOHAMMED BADARU ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION AS DEFENCE MINISTER

The Minister of Defence, MOHAMMED BADARU, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.

This was confirmed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, BAYO ONANUGA, who stated that ABUBAKAR resigned on health grounds. 

ONANUGA, added that President BOLATINUBU has accepted ABUBAKAR’Sresignation and expressed gratitude for his service to the nation.

The resignation follows President TINUBU’Srecent declaration of a national security emergency, with further details on its scope expected to be announced in due course.
