President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has described former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a liar following his one-term presidency remark.
Obi, who previously served as the governor of Anambra State, recently reaffirmed his commitment to serving only a single four-year term if elected president, insisting that his promise remains non-negotiable.
Responding to Obi’s claim on X, Onanuga stated that Obi is neither Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, nor John F. Kennedy, arguing that despite serving eight years as Anambra State governor, he failed to bring meaningful transformation to the state.
He further stated that Obi keeps making promises he cannot fulfill, citing how he once vowed never to leave All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) only to later defect, which makes Obi a liar.
