The draw ceremony for the ninth edition of the competition took place yesterday  at the Mohammed VI (the sixth)  Football Academy in Rabat, Morocco.

Samoa will be making their maiden appearance at the U-17 Women’s World Cup, and the top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to the Round of 16, as well as the four best third-placed teams.

Recall that Flamingos exited the competition at the quarter-final stage last year in the Dominican Republic, and they finished third in the 2022 edition in India.
