The suspended governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, yesterday paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos State.

Tinubu has been in Lagos since last week, where he commissioned several projects and will remain in the state until the Sallah celebrations are over.

Fubara’s meeting with Tinubu may not be unconnected to the ongoing state of emergency in Rivers State.

He recently met with his estranged political godfather, Nyesom Wike, to seek reconciliation.
