ADAMAWA APC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, BINANI, DEBUNKS DEFECTION RUMOURS.

The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State, Aishatu Binani, has dismissed recent rumours that she has defected to another political party.

Binani, reaffirmed her loyalty to the APC, at an event hosted by one of her support groups, named, Gladiators for Binani Only, held yesterday in Yola, where she dismissed the alleged defection report as false and misleading.

She thanked her supporters for their dedication during the 2023 elections, which contributed to her strong performance against incumbent Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, to whom she lost narrowly.

In his remark, a prominent politician and ally of Binani, Umar Mustapha, described the group as a crucial platform for creating a strong force in preparation for the 2027 general elections, with the goal of taking back Adamawa State from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
