NIGERIAN CHEF SET TO BREAK GUINNESS WORLD RECORD FOR LONGEST COOKING TIME.

A Nigerian chef, Hilda Bacci is on the verge of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual. 

27-year-old Bacci who is no stranger to breaking records as she won the maiden edition of the Jollof Faceoff competition held back in August 2021 is currently on 86 hours and counting, with about 10 hours left to set the new Guinness World Record.

Hilda owner of Myfoodbyhilda had earlier announced in an Instagram post on April 2nd that she was going to make her five-year-long dream a reality, adding that she will cook for four days and four nights to break the 87 hours, 45 minutes set by Chef Lata London in Rewa, India in 2019.

Celebrities, food bloggers, and private individuals have continued to show their support for her as she carries on to make history. 

The Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu also visited her and tasted one of her meals.
