Chukwuma Soludo Renames Ministry Of Commerce And Industry In Anambra State.

Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has approved the renaming of the ministry of commerce and industry.

Secretary to the state government, Solo Chukwulobelu, stated this in a press release today, noting that the Executive Council Meeting of State Government, approved the renaming of the Ministry yesterday, adding that henceforth, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, obinna ngonadi will be addressed as the Commissioner for Industry.

Solo said the decision was to enable the Ministry of Industry to focus on the industrialization agenda of the governor, and for greater performance, without bothering about trade and commerce, which used to be part of the ministry.

He added that trade and commerce aspect of the ministry will now be domiciled under the Governor’s Office.
