PANDEF Urges Buhari not to Cancel PAP.

The Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF has urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to cancel the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).

The group made the appeal in an open letter addressed to the President and signed by its leader Edwin Clark and other executives, insisting that if the programme is cancelled, chaos could descend on the Niger-Delta.

It also asked President Buhari to substantiate the programme’s status to reduce the brewing tension in the region.”

The group further appealed to the president to stop the unilateral delisting of beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme and the immediate reinstatement of youths allegedly delisted.
