Flamingos of Nigeria Will Take on the United States of America in the Quarter-Finals.

The Flamingos of Nigeria will take on the United States of America in the quarter-finals of the U-17 women’s World Cup in India.

The pairing was confirmed after the USA thrashed Morocco 4-0 in their final Group A game to finish top on Monday, while earlier yesterday the Flamingos booked their place in the last eight following a hard-fought 2-1 win against Chile in their last Group B tie.

Goals from skipper Blessing Emmanuel and Bisola Mosaku secured their second win of the tournament.

Germany, who finished ahead of the Flamingos in Group B, will take on Group A runners-up Brazil in the knockout round.
