The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Enugu Chapter, Emmanuel Edeh, has charged youths to remain focused and committed to the enthronement of good governance in Nigeria.

Edeh, who stated this during the inauguration of the executives of the youth wing of CAN, emphasized the need for serious orientation of youths, urging them to get more involved in political matters thereby creating the needed change in the country.

While urging the youths to equip themselves with their permanent voter cards ahead of the 2023 general election, he called on politicians to start thinking in the way of the youths by creating meaningful jobs for them.

In his speech, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on religious matters, Chinedu Nwoye congratulated the newly inaugurated executives, adding that they have been given the mandate to help reorient the youths to shun violence and seek legitimate ways of empowering themselves.

Meanwhile, the state Chairman of Yownican, Samuel Ani, revealed that with the help of various sensitization exercises carried out by the Association, more youths are now actively involved in politics and further appealed for inclusion in government programs.
