President Buhari is seeking the confirmation of seven ministerial nominees from the 9th Assembly.

President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the 9^th Assembly seeking the confirmation of seven ministerial nominees.

The nominees are, Henry Ikechukwu from Abia State, Umana Okon Umana of Akwa-Ibom State, Ekuma Joseph of Ebonyi State, Goodluck Obia of Imo State; Umar Yakub of Kano State, Ademola Adegorioye of Ondo State and Odo Udi from Rivers State.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has nominated Philip Aduda as the new minority leader to fill the vacant seat created by Enyinnaya Abariba’s defection, just has the party also nominated Chukwuka Utazi as the new senate minority whip.
