YUL EDOCHIE FACES BACKLASH OVER COMMENTS ON PETER OBI’S PRESIDENTIAL AMBITION

Popular Nollywood actor, YUL EDOCHIE has come under heavy criticism from fans following a controversial statement about the presidential ambition of a former governor of Anambra State, PETER OBI.

In a post shared on his X yesterday,  EDOCHIE claimed that OBI’S chances of becoming Nigeria’s president were “dead on arrival and further asserted that any political party OBI aligns with would struggle, referencing his association with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

His remarks quickly triggered a wave of reactions online, with many users criticizing the actor and questioning his stance,  while some referenced his personal life and career and urged  him to stay out of political discourse.

Others also  accused him of seeking political relevance and attempting to align with opposing interests.
