VLAHOVIC DOUBLE HELP JUVENTUS SECURE A WIN AGAINST VERONA

Juventus continued their fine start to the Serie A campaign under Thiago Motta, beating Hellas Verona 3-0 away from home to become the only side to win their opening two games of the season.

Striker Dusan Vlahovic opened the scoring, netting the first of his two goals with a clean finish in the 28th minute, and further  threaded a pass as he slotted the ball past goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo’s right while under pressure from three Verona defenders.

The visitors doubled their lead 10 minutes later as Nicolo Savona scored on his full debut for the club courtesy of Samuel Mbangula’s cross.

 Juventus will welcome Daniele De Rossi’s Roma side to the Allianz Stadium next weekend.
