TINUBU CONGRATULATES FLAMINGOS AFTER VICTORY OVER BRAZIL TO REACH U-17 WORLD CUP FINAL.

President BOLA TINUBU has congratulated Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national football team, the Flamingos, after their victory over  Brazil in the semi-final of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.

In a  statement issued by his   Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, BAYO ONANUGA, President TINUBU described the victory as a remarkable achievement worth celebrating, and commended  the team, the coaching crew and all who contributed their support to the team’s successful campaign.

He also urged the team to remain focused and determined  as they prepare to face Japan in the final, and assured them of the country’s support.

He further expressed confidence in the team’s ability to win the trophy.
