The Chief Executive Officer of HYTECH limited, Chioma Akwuegbo has urged Ndigbo to rekindle and revive their culture of industry and hard work as that is the only way to overcome marginalization in the country.
Guest Speaker Akwuegbo made this call on Friday at the Monthly Distinguished Speaker series of Nkata Umu Ibe, with the theme Gaa Iru Reflection on Progression; organized by Centre for Memories CFM, at Enugu Sports Club.
Speaking further on the importance of hard work she charged the youths to ask themselves how they have contributed to the development of their immediate environment, reminding Ndigbo that they are great people filled with the manifest talents and potential of becoming the pride of the black race.
Speaking on the unique impact and contributions of the monthly distinguished speaker series a member of the board of Centre for Memories, Nnanna Udeh stated that the lecture series has significantly contributed to the building and development of a body of knowledge which would continue to advance Igbo civilization and development.
Urban Radio Correspondent, Emeka Chibuoke said the lecture series which was introduced by Enugu Sports Club in 2018, in collaboration with Centre for Memories have attracted several distinguished erudite speakers such as Professor Osita Ogbu, Dr, Joe Aba, Nnia Nwodo, Yvonne Mbanefo, Ike Chioke amongst others.
