SUPER EAGLES WIN FIRST FRIENDLY AHEAD OF  2025 CLASH AGAINST GHANA

The Super Eagles yesterday defeated Grassrunners FC 1-0 in their first friendly ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship qualifier against Ghana in Ikenne.

Substitute PAPA DANIEL scored the winning goal in the second half.

The Eagles, who opened camping for the qualifier in Ikenne on Wednesday are expected to play more friendlies before the clash with the Black Galaxies.

Ghana will host the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, while the reverse fixture will hold one week later at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
