Nigerian singer, SHALLIPOPI, has accused his former record label boss, DAMILOLA AKINWUNMI, CEO of Dapper Music, of forging his signature and fraudulently selling his music catalogue to a foreign company.

In a statement shared on his X page today, SHALLIPOPI claimed that he signed only a management agreement with Dapper in 2023, but alleged that the record label boss forged his signature and converted it into a 10-year distribution contract.

He further alleged that DAPPER forged his signature again and sold his catalogue to a foreign company, while keeping the proceeds from the transaction.

However, Dapper Music is yet to respond to SHALLIPOPI’s latest allegations.
