PRESIDENT TINUBU PLEDGES DEEPER COOPERATION WITH BRAZIL.

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Brazilian President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his re-election, pledging Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties in trade, investment, agriculture, energy and technology.

The President conveyed his message in a statement he personally signed and released by the State House, describing Lula as a friend and said his renewed mandate presents an opportunity to deepen the longstanding relationship and historical ties between Nigeria and Brazil.

He noted that Nigeria and Brazil, as leading countries in the Global South, could work together to promote economic integration and advance their common interests in a rapidly changing global environment.

Tinubu identified trade and investment, agriculture and food security, oil and gas, manufacturing, science and technology, education, aviation and cultural exchange as key sectors for expanded collaboration with Brazil.
