PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULES TEMS ON HER GRAMMY AWARD.

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigerian Afrobeats artist Tems, for winning Best African Music Performance award at the 67th annual Grammy Awards held last night  in Los Angeles.

Tinubu’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued yesterday through his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, commending Tems for her unique artistry, acknowledging that her songs brought pride to Nigeria on the global stage for the second time.

He emphasized that Nigerian music industry, particularly, Afrobeats has become a source of national pride, promoting a sense of identity and self-expression while uniting people across borders

 Tinubu also praised other Nigerian artists nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Lojay, Davido, and Burna Boy, stating that they were all an inspiration and role models to many young people, adding that the nation remained deeply grateful for their contributions to music, job creation, and tourism promotion.

 He wished them continued success in their musical careers.
