Police Kills Female Lawyer in Lagos

A Lagos based lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem, has been shot dead by a police Assistant Superintendent (ASP).

The incident occurred yesterday near the Ajah bridge as the deceased returned from church.

Bolanle was reportedly shot while she sat in the car with the husband was beside her.

Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin who reacted to the fatal shooting described the officer’s action as “unfortunate and avoidable, revealing that the ASP and two others with him have since been taken into custody and will be moved to the SCID for further investigation.
