PDP WINS 30 OUT OF 31 LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN AKWA IBOM COUNCIL ELECTION.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has won 30 of the 31 local government chairmanship seats in the October 5, 2024 Local government election in Akwa Ibom State.

The Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission, AKISIEC, Aniedi-Abasi Ikoiwak who announced this yesterday, revealed that All Progressives Congress, APC only secured one local government area.

Meanwhile, the Akwa Ibom state governor, Umo Eno, will today, swear in the elected Chairmen and Vice Chairmen by 8 am at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo, in the State capital.
