NYESOME WIKE DECLARES SELF AS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR IN FCT AND RIVERS STATE.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT NYESOM WIKE, has announced plans to coordinate President BOLA TINUBU’s re-election campaign in the FCT and Rivers State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

WIKE made this known yesterday during a stakeholders’ meeting of the Rainbow Coalition in Abuja, where he disclosed plans for a joint campaign involving members of the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

He declared that the coalition had agreed to support Tinubu for president amid political differences and confirmed that he would oversee campaign activities in the FCT and Rivers State.

While describing himself as the leader of field operations for the FCT election, WIKE urged members of the coalition to prioritise their shared political objective over individual party interests.

In a show of cross-party cooperation, PDP candidates contesting National Assembly seats also pledged support for their APC counterparts ahead of the elections
