NORTHERN GOVERNORS URGED TO APPOINT SPECIAL ADVISERS ON IGBO AFFAIRS BY IMO STATE GOVERNOR’S ADVISER.

The newly appointed Special Adviser on Northern Affairs to the Governor of Imo State Hope Uzodimma, Hassan Sokoto has tasked the 19 governors of the Northern states of Nigeria to immediately appoint aides on Igbo Affairs.

Adamu while addressing journalists in Owerri yesterday said appointing core Igbos as Special Advisers on Eastern Affairs to the Government of the 19 states of the North will strengthen inter-state businesses and guarantee unity, peace, and progress of Nigeria.

The Kebbi State-born All Progressives Congress APC, Presidential Campaign Council Chairman of South East Hausa Community in the just concluded general elections, praised Uzodimma for giving adequate security, a conducive atmosphere, and a level playing ground to carry on their various businesses.

He used the opportunity to charge Muslims in Imo State to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for a peaceful Imo gubernatorial election come November 11, 2023, and Uzodimma’s re-election.
