British monarch King Charles III has expressed his admiration for Nigerian singer, Davido, revealing that his music made him fall in love with Pidgin English.

The monarch disclosed this in the new Apple Music show, The King’s Music Room, which premiered yesterday in celebration of Commonwealth day.

King Charles stated that Davido had made him love Pidgin language and expressed a strong desire to speak Pidgin the next time he visits Nigeria, adding that Afrobeats has become a popular and global music genre.

 Consequently, Davido shared the video on his Instagram story, offering a shout-out to the royal family.
