Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland scored a late winner for Norway’s 2-1 win against Austria in the Nations League.
The League B Group 3 match appeared to be heading for a draw, but Haaland, who has already scored seven goals for Manchester City this season, displayed impressive strength and composure to control a ball into the box and then score.
Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard limped off as he went down in pain after hurting his ankle following a foul by Christoph Baumgartner midway through the second half.
Norway’s coach, Stale Solbakken explained that Odegaard’s injury appeared painful in the locker room and mentioned it was an ankle sprain, noting that with some luck, it could heal if the ligaments were not torn.
The midfielder could now be a doubt for Sunday’s north London derby, with the Gunners already missing Declan Rice for the game against Tottenham through suspension.
