GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE CONDEMNS ATTACK ON UNITED STATES MISSION WORKERS.

The Governor of Anambra State Professor Chukwuma Soludo has expressed condolences to the families and organizations of the United States US Mission staff members and policemen killed by gunmen in the state, while strongly condemning the attack which he described as heinous and unprovoked.

The assailants killed two workers on a mission and two accompanying officers along Atani-Osamala Road, Ogbaru Local Government Area LGA on Tuesday.

Soludo in a statement yesterday by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime promised that the state government would actively work with the security agencies to smoke out the criminals and bring them to justice.

He beseeched anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the criminals to offer the same on their secured security phone number or to any of the security agencies and such informant would be handsomely rewarded.

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said they are working urgently with Nigerian counterparts to ascertain the location and condition of the members of the convoy who are unaccounted for.
