FORMER PRESIDENTIAL AIDE CAUTIONS TINUBU AGAINST CONTESTING IN 2027

Former Special Adviser on Political Affairs to President BOLA TINUBU in the Office of Vice President KASHIM SHETTIMA, HAKEEM BABA-AHMED, has cautioned the president against seeking a second term.

BABA-AHMED, who stated this during an interview, advised that TINUBU should instead use his remaining two years in office to fix Nigeria and support a younger presidential candidate in 2027.

He noted that there are a lot of patriotic and desperate Nigerians who want to be part of the future of this country, urging the president to find people who are more energetic, healthier, more focused, and more committed to the future of this country.
