FALZ OPENS UP ON WHY HE LEFT ACTIVE LEGAL PRACTICE

Popular Nigerian rapper and actor FALZ has explained that he quit active legal practice due to the growing demands of his career in the music industry.

The entertainer, who was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012, said it became increasingly difficult to combine the legal profession with entertainment as his popularity continued to rise.

Speaking during a recent interview, FALZ recounted an experience in court where a judge recognised him for his activities outside the legal profession.

He said the incident made him realise that his rising public profile could become a distraction during court proceedings and might affect clients’ confidence in his ability to give their cases full attention.
