ENUGU RANGERS BEAT BAYELSA 1-0 IN NPFL ENCOUNTER

Rangers yesterday defeated Bayelsa United 1-0 in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL encounter.

Substitute ISAAC SAVIOUR grabbed the winning goal as he fired home from inside the box 20 minutes from time, his first goal of the season for the Flying Antelopes.

Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side returned to winning ways again following last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Remo Stars in Ikenne.

The title holders moved to seventh position on the table following their latest victory and will host Abia Warriors in an oriental derby on Sunday.
