DAVIDO OPENS UP ON WHY HE WANTS HIS KIDS OUT OF SHOW BUSINESS

Popular Afrobeats star, Davido has revealed that he would prefer his children not to pursue careers in the entertainment industry.

Speaking during an interview, the singer said he would rather see his children work in the businesses owned by his father, DEJI ADELEKE.

DAVIDO explained that his stance is influenced by his personal experience while trying to build a music career, recalling that his father initially did not support his decision to go into entertainment but later accepted his passion after seeing his determination and eventual success.

Reflecting on his family, Davido noted that his father finds his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren, despite his wealth and achievements, adding that this influenced his desire for his children to remain close to the family and possibly work within the family business structure.

While he expressed a preference for a different path for his children, the singer made it clear that he would not stand in their way if they choose entertainment.
