An Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State has granted bail in the sum of 1 million Naira to controversial Nigerian artiste, Portable.

The court also ruled that his bail is conditional upon the provision of two sureties in like sum.

Portable was arrested on April 13th, in Abeokuta, Ogun State following a petition filed by veteran Fuji artist, Saheed Osupa, accusing the artiste of criminal defamation, threats to life, incitement, character assassination, and conduct likely to disturb public peace.

Recall that Portable shared a clip on his Instagram page early last month, calling Osupa “Big for nothing” after the Fuji musician took down one of his songs from Apple Music over copyright infringement, though portable a few days after the post, apologized for his outburst.
