Christopher Nkunku netted a hat-trick as Chelsea advanced to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a dominant 5-0 victory against Barrow at Stamford Bridge.

In the eighth minute, Nkunku opened the scoring with a composed finish following an excellent chipped pass from Joao Felix.

Nkunku quickly scored his second goal with a clever flick that redirected Malo Gusto’s low cross into the net before a free-kick from Felix struck the post and bounced off Barrow goalkeeper Paul Farman, extending the Blues’ lead to 3-0 at halftime.

Commencing the second half, Pedro Neto scored his first Chelsea goal by tapping in after Mykhailo Mudryk’s pass across the goal, while Nkunku completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute by dispossessing goalkeeper, Farman and calmly slotting the ball into an empty net.
